You still wake up, do what needs to be done, and move through your days as usual. From the outside, nothing seems wrong. Yet something inside you feels different. Things that once made you happy no longer feel the same. You try to understand what is missing, but every answer leads to another question.
Maybe you have changed. Maybe life has slowly taken something from you without asking for permission. Or perhaps you have spent so much time trying to meet expectations that you have forgotten what you truly want.
The strange part is that you cannot always explain this feeling. You might have good people around you, a place to call home, and reasons to be grateful. Still, there is a quiet emptiness you cannot seem to fill.
βSometimes, you donβt miss what you lost. You miss the person you were before everything changed.β
And that is what makes this feeling so difficult to understand. You are not simply searching for something that disappeared. You are also trying to understand the person you have become along the way.
You do not need to figure everything out today. Give yourself room to sit with your thoughts without forcing every feeling to make sense. Pay attention to what drains you, what brings you peace, and what no longer feels right.
Understanding yourself takes time. Some answers arrive only when you stop demanding them.
You may not know what you have lost yet. But you can begin by learning what you need now.
